3rd October, 2019: The Al Naboodah Group’s origins date back to a small shop selling agricultural machines and equipment in Deira, established in 1958 by the brothers Saeed and Mohammed Al Naboodah. Over the course of the next 60 years, they built it up into one of the UAE’s most successful and well-respected wholly owned Emirati family conglomerates.

A great deal of the Group’s success can be attributed to its diversified portfolio, using the strength of its businesses to ensure stability and continued operations.

With regards to the construction side of the company, as a tier one contractor, Al Naboodah Construction Group’s main strength is its ability to self-supply on almost all of its construction requirements, from concrete and asphalt production to plant and heavy equipment, specialist engineering, MEP and more. This enables the Group to maintain absolute control of the supply and quality of these products and services. For example, strong supply and maintenance support for plant and heavy equipment from its in-house business National Plant, and high-quality concrete and asphalt from its ready-mix production facility ARCON.

Al Naboodah’s reputation is built on the trust that its stakeholders have in it and is arguably its most valuable asset. It is vital to the Group’s ongoing success, so it would never compromise on that or engage in business practices that would risk harming the reputation of the Al Naboodah name.

The Group’s commitment to new technologies and innovation, as well as its investment in smart cities and renewable and green technologies, is what will ensure its competitiveness going forward.
